The kit allows complete removal of the balance shafts, providing extra power by reducing rotating mass. An additional benefit is the replacement of the problematic dual-mass gear, which, if it fails, can cause catastrophic engine damage.
The new version reduces installation time by several hours, as it does not require removing the entire oil pump—only the gear itself needs to be replaced. It also minimizes the risk of “seizing” in the drive shaft housing. A motorsport-grade sealed bearing is used.
We recommend inspecting the bearings every 2 years and replacing them if necessary.
