This eliminates the need for special tools during installation, saving time and money while preserving your original fuel pump for future projects.
For 2.0T FSI EA113 engine upgrades well beyond stock performance, sufficient high-pressure fuel is required to prevent fuel starvation, especially in the mid-range. Factory fuel pumps often begin to suffer from pressure loss under these conditions. This upgrade replaces the internal components responsible for fuel pressure and volume delivered to your injectors, ensuring the pump meets the demands of higher performance. Precision is critical: the final piston surface inside the pump is so finely finished that it can be damaged by bare hands. The tolerance between the piston and the new sleeve can only be measured using a machine that assesses clearances at a microscopic level using air volumes.
